Just Start LA is thrilled to support Catch A Smile, a heartwarming nonprofit founded by 91-year-old Harvey Keenan. Inspired by lifelong childhood memories — like playing catch with his best friend, Garry Marshall — Harvey built this organization to create deep friendships and uplift children facing hardships through simple, joyful connections. Whether hosting volunteer clubs at local schools or organizing community events, Catch A Smile brings hope and smiles to kids who need it most. Together, we’re helping spread positivity and build lasting bonds, one friendly “catch” at a time.

Hope the Mission

Just Start LA is proud to support Hope the Mission, one of the largest homeless-services organizations on the West Coast. We bring free executive functioning classes to the middle and high schoolers in their programs, helping students build the planning, organization, and follow-through skills that open doors, no matter their circumstances.
