Hi! I'm Joshua and I am so excited to be a part of Just Start LA's tutoring team! I recently graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry and a minor in science education. Hi, I’m Riley! At Just Start LA, I’ll be tutoring students in government, history, english and communications, and public speaking, which are subjects I love and believe help build confidence and strong voices. I recently earned my Master’s Degree in Communication and Advocacy, with a concentration in Strategic Communication, from James Madison University. While at JMU, I was the Lab Manager for the university’s first-ever Political Science lab, the American Political Reform and Innovation Lab (APRILab). I currently work as a Project Manager at a research institute supporting families affected by rare diseases, helping them submit biological samples to make them readily available for research. Hi everyone! My name is Skylar Kane and I am a second year student at UCLA majoring in Education and Social Transformation! I have always loved tutoring and even did it in high school. I have over 2,000 hours of tutoring experience and it truly is something I enjoy and can see myself doing for the long term! My favorite subject is history, but I most enjoy tutoring English.
